One Step from Eden Meets Skullgirls in New Grid Force: Mask of the Goddess Trailer

Playtra Games, the developers of Grid Force: Mask of the Goddess, just released a new gameplay trailer showcasing 30+ characters, lightning-fast combat, and a deep branching story.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - AUGUST 31, 2021 - Following in the footsteps of One Step from Eden and Mega Man Battle Network, Playtra Studios sees Grid Force: Mask of the Goddess as the next evolution of grid-based game mechanics.

“We love the grid-based game genre because of how deeply tactical and character-driven it can be, but we also saw an opportunity to bring more players to the genre with combat that was faster and more dynamic,” Dan Bernardo, Founder, says. “So Grid Force is like One Step from Eden meets Skullgirls.”

Balancing the frantic intensity of Grid Force battles is a deep narrative story, hand-illustrated in a comic book style with meaningful player choices. The story changes based on how the player interacts with the plot, opening the door to dozens of secrets and surprises as well as fresh story beats and unlockable characters to mix into future replays.

“We’re betting everything on Grid Force, and we’re excited to bring players along for that adventure,” Bernardo says.
